Bradley Arant Attorney Selected for 2016 Leadership Mississippi

Bradley Arant is pleased to announce that Jackson attorney Stuart P. Lott has been selected to participate in the 2016 class of Mississippi Economic Council’s (MEC) Leadership Mississippi based on his professional achievements and community involvement. Participants are selected through a highly competitive application process. This year marks the most competitive on record for Leadership Mississippi applicants.

“I am honored to be selected to participate in this year’s Leadership Mississippi class,” said Mr. Lott. “I am grateful for the opportunity to further study the economic, political, and social landscapes in the State of Mississippi. I also look forward to developing new, and honing existing, leadership skills.”

The MEC’s annual Leadership Mississippi is the second oldest statewide leadership program in the nation. It enables participants to collaborate during a one-year training program consisting of individual studies, group sessions, and projects. Since its inception in 1974, Leadership Mississippi has graduated more than 1,000 alumni active in Mississippi business and politics, including some of Mississippi’s top business executives and many elected leaders.

Mr. Lott is a member of the Banking and Financial Services and the Financial Services Litigation and Compliance practice groups at Bradley Arant. His practice focuses on advising banks and financial services companies on regulatory compliance and enforcement matters. Before joining the firm, Mr. Lott worked in compliance at a large regional bank. He earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his B.B.A. (summa cum laude) from Jackson State University.
