Bradley Arant Attorney Selected for Mississippi Bar Leadership Program

Bradley Arant is pleased to announce that Jackson attorney Stuart P. Lott has been selected to participate in the esteemed Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum for 2016. The program will commence on January 21 and run through May 2016.

“I am honored to be selected to participate in this year’s Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum,” said Mr. Lott. “I am humbled to join such a prestigious group of high-potential young lawyers from across the State of Mississippi. Further, I look forward to the opportunity to learn more about the legal profession, to enhance my practice skills, and to explore leadership opportunities within the Mississippi Bar.”

The mission of the annual Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum is to prepare Mississippi lawyers for future opportunities in leadership roles. Participants learn how to succeed not only in their law careers, but also in service to professional, political, civic, and community organizations. Class members meet and interact with prominent legal and community leaders, develop leadership skills, explore long-term opportunities for leadership, and form a lifelong network. This year’s selection process was highly competitive, with room for only 20 class members. Mr. Lott was chosen based on his leadership ability as evidenced by his ongoing accomplishments and Bar and community involvement.

Mr. Lott is a member of the Banking and Financial Services and the Financial Services Litigation and Compliance practice groups at Bradley Arant. His practice focuses on advising banks and financial services companies on regulatory compliance and enforcement matters. Before joining the firm, Mr. Lott worked in compliance at a large regional bank. He earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his B.B.A. (summa cum laude) from Jackson State University.
