Bradley Arant Partner Named Alabama Law Foundation Fellow

Bradley Arant is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner Michael S. Denniston was invited to join the Alabama Law Foundation’s Fellows program. Mr. Denniston was formally announced at the Fellows banquet on January 30.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized with this distinction,” said Mr. Denniston. “It is my privilege to practice at Bradley Arant among attorneys who both support and challenge me to raise the bar. I look forward to serving in this new capacity.”

The Alabama Law Foundation’s Fellows program, established in 1995, is reserved for Alabama State Bar members who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their profession and their community. No more than one percent of Alabama State Bar members are invited into fellowship. The complete list of 2016 Fellows can be seen here.

Mr. Denniston focuses on advising and litigating for clients concerning antitrust and competition law, as well as intellectual property issues. His practice spans the breadth of the antitrust and intellectual property arena. Mr. Denniston also works closely with the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group on merger analysis and preparing transactions for premerger review pursuant to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act. His litigation experience ranges from prosecuting and defending requests for temporary restraining orders to handling complex multiparty and multidistrict copyright litigation. His transaction work includes providing counsel on early termination and potential antitrust matters that require detailed engagement and negotiations with the FTC and the Department of Justice. Mr. Denniston has been recognized consecutively by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers, and is listed in International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists.
