Bradley Arant IP attorney Dr. Nicholas Landau was interviewed by the Birmingham Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program (BBVLP) about volunteering his time helping low-income inventors as part of the BBVLP Patent Program. Asked about the benefits of the pro bono program that helps inventors secure patent protection, Landau responded that providing pro bono patent application drafting services to poor inventors not only benefits the client, it benefits the American economy by allowing new inventions to be developed and commercialized that otherwise would be abandoned by the inventor and forgotten.
