Bradley Arant Welcomes Matthew Lilly
Bradley Arant is pleased to announce that Matthew K. Lilly has joined the firm’s Charlotte office as an associate in the Construction and Procurement practice group.

Lumsden. “He has already established himself as a valued, respected member of Charlotte’s legal and construction industries. Matt will, without a doubt, be a tremendous asset to our clients and his colleagues.”
In his practice, Mr. Lilly represents contractors, subcontractors, and developers in public and private construction projects. His primary focus is risk mitigation and dispute avoidance throughout the construction process. Before joining Bradley Arant, Mr. Lilly worked for a North Carolina-based defense litigation firm where he handled cases from initial pleadings through trial and appeals, and provided clients with risk analysis and assessment before, during, and after litigation.
Mr. Lilly was recognized as a 2016 North Carolina Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and was selected for the 2016 class of the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Bar Leadership Institute. He earned his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Notre Dame, and currently belongs to the American Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and Defense Research Institute. In addition, Mr. Lilly serves on the board of the ACE Mentor Program of Charlotte, an organization that runs after-school programs for high school students who are interested in exploring careers in architecture, construction and engineering.
