Bradley Partner Stuart Maxey Named one of The M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders

Bradley is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner Stuart M. Maxey has been selected as one of The M&A Advisor’s 2016 Emerging Leaders. The M&A Advisor’s Seventh Annual Emerging Leaders Awards celebrate the industry’s emerging leaders in M&A, financing and restructuring who have reached a significant level of success in the industry before the age of 40.

The M&A Advisor ’s Emerging Leaders Award winners were chosen from a pool of prominent nominees for their notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community. An independent panel of judges reviewed submissions and selected this year’s winners, who will be formally recognized on June 10 at the New York Athletic Club. Mr. Maxey practices on the firm’s Corporate and Securities and Mergers and Acquisitions teams. He has significant experience in middle-market M&A transactions, particularly transactions involving private equity firms. Mr. Maxey, who began his career as a Certified Public Accountant, serves as outside general counsel to numerous private equity portfolio companies and family-owned businesses. He represents several fund managers, investment managers and family offices with respect to investment adviser compliance. In addition, he has significant experience forming real estate funds, funds-of-funds, private equity funds and other similar pooled investment vehicles. Mr. Maxey has participated in over 100 M&A transactions domestically and internationally.
