Bradley Appoints Frank Caprio as Huntsville Office Manager Partner

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Frank M. Caprio has been appointed managing partner of the firm’s Huntsville office, succeeding partner Kimberly B. Martin. Mr. Caprio will also continue to serve as chair of Bradley’s Intellectual Property practice group.

As managing partner, Mr. Caprio will guide and advance the short- and long-term goals of the firm in Huntsville and throughout the region. In his intellectual property practice, Mr. Caprio assists clients in the protection and use of their intellectual property rights, and in the litigation of various technology-related disputes involving patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and computer issues. He represents large and small technology companies involved in a wide range of business activities, including manufacturers, software developers, data providers, defense contractors, hospital and other healthcare providers, municipalities and other governmental agencies, museums, architects, homebuilders, restaurants, banks and other financial institutions, website developers. He regularly presents on various IP issues, and has held leadership positions in the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar Association. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® and Alabama Super Lawyers.

In addition, Mr. Caprio has always been very active in the community. He has served on the board of the Huntsville Hospital System, YMCA, BizTech, Chamber of Commerce, Emergency Management Agency, and the Vanderbilt Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. He earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama, his M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and his B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
