Bradley Attorney Aron Beezley Quoted in Law360 on Cybersecurity Regulation for Contractors

Bradley attorney Aron Beezley was quoted in Law360 on the impact of new cybersecurity regulations on government contractors.
A federal onus on cybersecurity has increased due to high-profile breaches and increased threat risk meaning many contractors face costly upgrades to
cybersecurity measures.
In the last few years, Beezley counts around 40 published decisions from the Government Accountability Office and the Court of Federal Claims touching on
cybersecurity issues, where there had been only a handful before 2013.
“That suggests strongly that agencies are starting to incorporate into solicitations cybersecurity provisions and requirements and evaluation
considerations,” Beezley said. “There’s every indication that that will just keep occurring with increasing frequency.”
There’s yet to be any seminal cybersecurity ruling, Beezley added, but that could change.
