Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that the Nashville Bar Association (NBA) has recognized the firm with a 2016 Diversity Leadership Award. This marks the 11th consecutive year that the firm has received the award for demonstrating “a continued commitment to enhancing diversity and access to professional success.” Awards were formally presented at the NBA’s annual Law Day event on April 29.
The recognition elements for law firms to qualify for the Leadership Award are hiring ethnically diverse IL and 2L summer associates, increasing the number of ethnically diverse lawyers in the Nashville office, hiring ethnically diverse summer interns, and/or having a diversity based scholarship program.
“We are very proud that the Nashville Bar Association continues to recognize Bradley’s strong commitment of supporting diversity initiatives and awareness,” said Lela Hollabaugh, managing partner of the firm’s Nashville office.
Bradley’s core values of workplace diversity and equality are essential to the firm’s business strategies, professional ideals, and relationships with its clients and communities. The firm is committed to supporting strategic opportunities and platforms for discussion, reflection, and growth as it pursues a more diverse and engaged work environment.
