Three Bradley Partners Named to Who’s Who Legal: Real Estate 2016
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that for the third consecutive year, Nashville partners Ann Peldo Cargile and J. Thomas Trent, Jr., and Jackson partner W. Rodney “Rod” Clement have been listed in Who’s Who Legal: Real Estate 2016, a legal referral guide of the world’s leading real estate lawyers.

Ms. Cargile represents parties in all aspects of commercial real estate, including leasing, finance and joint ventures. She has a national leasing practice, serving as counsel to landlords and tenants in both lease negotiation and lease enforcement. In addition, Ms. Cargile represents lenders in placing financing, and has a great deal of experience assisting borrowers in negotiating favorable loan terms and advising them when projects become distressed. Ms. Cargile also advises parties on structuring joint ventures to best advantage.
With a practice concentrated in commercial real estate and secured transactions, Mr. Clement regularly represents purchasers and developers of shopping centers, office buildings and distribution centers, and represents lenders and borrowers in financings. Recent projects that he has worked on include development of solar power farms and student housing, purchase of healthcare facilities, and sales and financings of multi-family properties. He also has extensive experience with judicial and non-judicial foreclosures and receiverships.
Mr. Trent is a member and former chairman of Bradley’s Real Estate team, and the current chairman of the firm’s Economic Development team. He represents clients regionally and nationally, including major manufacturing companies, corporate users of commercial real estate, institutional investors, developers and lenders. With more than 35 years of experience in real estate and economic development law, Mr. Trent has handled complex commercial and real estate transactions across the country, including real estate leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, workouts, equity participations, tax advantaged leasing, the structuring and financing of subordinated and unsubordinated ground leases, industrial development financing, tax increment financing (TIFs), and payment in lieu of tax agreement transactions (PILOTs).
