Two Bradley Partners Honored as Benchmarks Top 250 Women in Litigation

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Benchmark Litigation has named Huntsville, Alabama partner Angela Holt and Nashville, Tennessee partner Patricia Head Moskal as being among the Top 250 Women in Litigation for 2016. Ms. Holt was the only Alabama attorney on this year’s list and Ms. Moskal was the only Tennessee attorney on this year’s list. Both attorneys have been recognized on Benchmark’s Top 250 Women in Litigation list annually since 2012.

Benchmark’s Top 250 Women in Litigation is annually published to honor the accomplishments of America’s leading female litigators. It features nominations representing most of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia. The decision to feature a distinguished female litigator was based primarily on targeted research completed during the Benchmark Litigation review process. Peer review and overall depth of honorees’ litigation careers were important elements during this research.

Ms. Holt's practice is centered on litigation in the fields of intellectual property, commercial and business issues, and high‐technology issues. A registered patent attorney, her cases have involved patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, government contracting disputes (including bid protests), domain‐name disputes, breach of contract, employee disputes, and restrictive covenants. She has experience prosecuting patent, copyright, and trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Copyright Office, and has litigated many inter partes trademark opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Ms. Moskal has more than 25 years of experience as a trial and appellate lawyer handling business and commercial disputes. She has a particular focus in state and local tax litigation, appellate litigation, and government contracts and bid protests. She also has significant experience with class action, contracts and business disputes, insurance litigation, real estate litigation, and municipal law matters. Ms. Moskal has successfully represented clients at every level of the state and federal courts and before administrative tribunals.
