Bradley Partner Bruce Ely Quoted in Bloomberg BNA on Governor’s Appointment to Alabama Tax Tribunal

Bradley attorney Bruce Ely was quoted in Bloomberg BNA’s Multi-State Tax Report on the governor’s appointment of a Department of Revenue attorney to the Alabama Tax Tribunal. Christy Edwards will join the tax tribunal as associate judge on September 1 and will serve a six-year term.

Ely spoke highly of Edwards following her appointment. “Although I wish she had time to follow in the Apostle Paul’s footsteps and spend three years in the desert after her conversion experience, I don’t think she’ll need much time to make the transition from Department of Revenue lawyer to Tax Tribunal Judge,” Ely said.
