Beau Byrd Appointed Auburn Alumni Association President
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner Beau Byrd has been named president of the Auburn Alumni Association, effective as of the Association’s annual meeting on October 1.
“My time at Auburn was invaluable and I am honored to support my alma mater and its distinguished alumni organization in this role,” said Mr. Byrd. “My goal is to continue strengthening the connections and relationships between the University and its vast network of alumni.”
Mr. Byrd earned a B.S. in accounting from Auburn University. He is a current member of Auburn’s Foy Society, the Circle of Excellence Society, the 1856 Society, and the George Petrie Society. He also serves as chair of the Auburn University Master of Real Estate Development Program Advisory Council.
In his practice, Mr. Byrd represents developers, owners, investors, lenders, and financial institutions in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including NMTC, Senior Housing, HTC, Retail, Office, and Multi-Family. In addition to his extensive involvement with Auburn, he is a fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, past President of NAIOP Alabama Chapter, and past Chairperson of the Real Property, Probate, and Estate Section of the Alabama State Bar. He is an adjunct professor at Cumberland School of Law, where he earned his J.D., and has been an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Byrd is listed in Chambers USA and Best Lawyers, and has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
