Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only up to five percent of attorneys in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee are named Mid-South Super Lawyers each year. No more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the same jurisdiction are named Rising Stars, which recognizes lawyers who are under 40 years old or have less than 10 years of legal experience. Super Lawyers are selected through a patented process that involves peer nominations and evaluations, as well as third-party research.
