Bradley Partner Bruce Ely Quoted in Bloomberg BNA on Amendment 14 Protection for Local Laws

State and Local Tax (SALT) attorney Bruce Ely was quoted in Bloomberg BNA on voters passing Amendment 14, which was aimed at protecting hundreds of local Alabama laws. Supporters of Amendment 14 said the proposal would prevent local laws from being struck down in court, including various tax measures.

“It was incredibly important to have that amendment pass,” Ely explained. “That saves over 600 local laws across the state.”
