Bradley Welcomes Back Construction, Energy and Litigation Attorney
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that David Hill Bashford, formerly managing partner of the firm’s Charlotte, N.C., office, has joined the firm’s Birmingham office as Counsel on the Construction, Energy and Litigation teams.
Mr. Bashford previously was with Bradley from 2005 to 2014 and served as general counsel for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) division of First Solar, Inc., in Tempe, Ariz., before returning to Bradley this year. While with First Solar, Mr. Bashford was responsible for contract evaluation/negotiation, risk/claim management and dispute resolution for EPC projects, including work in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

Mr. Bashford represents clients in the construction industry on projects throughout the United States and internationally and has extensive experience with utility-scale energy developers and contractors. He represents clients in risk management matters, including contract negotiation, contract/project administration assistance, and claim avoidance/mitigation, as well as dispute resolution, including claim preparation, negotiation, mediation, arbitration and/or litigation.
Mr. Bashford earned his J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College.
