Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that J. Douglas Minor Jr., a partner in the firm’s Jackson office, has been appointed to the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary (FJC).

The FJC evaluates the professional qualifications of all nominees to the U.S. Supreme Court, circuit courts of appeals, district courts (including territorial district courts), and the Court of International Trade. The committee’s goal is to support and encourage the selection of the best-qualified persons for the federal judiciary. Committee members are appointed by the president of the ABA based on their reputations for professional competence, integrity and devotion to public service.

“The firm congratulates Doug on his appointment to the ABA’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary,” said Bradley’s Jackson Office Managing Partner Margaret Oertling Cupples. “This is a tremendous honor for Doug and for the firm to be represented on this important committee that serves our judiciary, the bar, and the public.”
