We congratulate Kevin Newsom on his Senate confirmation to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Atlanta-based court that handles appeals from all federal courts in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Kevin joined Bradley’s Birmingham office in 2007 and served as chair of the firm’s Appellate Practice Group. We are grateful for his many years of service to our clients, as well as his time as Alabama's Solicitor General, in which capacity he directed the state's litigation in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, and the Alabama Supreme Court. We look forward to his leadership as a judge on the Eleventh Circuit.
