David Holt Receives AIChEs 35 Under 35 Award
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that David W. Holt, an associate in the firm’s Huntsville office, is a recipient of the 35 Under 35 Award from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). Mr. Holt is the only attorney among the honorees.
An initiative of the AIChE’s Young Professionals Committee, the 35 Under 35 Award acknowledges the early-career successes and technical and leadership contributions of some of AIChE’s youngest members who are under the age of 35. The award winners were selected based on their achievements in one of seven categories: bioengineering, chemicals, education, energy, innovation, leadership and safety.
“The firm congratulates David on this recognition as one of the outstanding young leaders of the new generation in the chemical engineering industry,” said Bradley’s Huntsville Office Managing Partner Frank M. Caprio.
A member of Bradley’s Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups, Mr. Holt focuses on a variety of complex litigation matters in state and federal courts around the country. His cases span a broad range of issues, including patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, commercial disputes, and product liability. He also advises clients in all aspects of intellectual property law.
Mr. Holt earned his J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law. He also holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) in chemical engineering, both from the University of Alabama.
The 35 Under 35 recipients were announced in the August 2017 issue of the AIChE’s flagship magazine Chemical Engineering Progress, and will be profiled online in AIChE’s ChEnected blog at http://www.aiche.org/chenected. With more than 50,000 members from over 100 countries, AIChE is the world’s leading organization for chemical engineering professionals.
