Jon Paul Hoelscher Elected President of South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association Board
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Jon Paul Hoelscher, a partner in the firm’s Houston office, has been elected president of the South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association Board of Directors.
“The firm congratulates Jon Paul on his election as president of the South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association board and we commend him for his service to his alma mater and to the legal profession,” said Bradley Houston Office Managing Partner Ian P. Faria.
“I am honored to take on this role. I hope to continue the association’s growth and overarching goal to keep alumni connected and involved with the school and the legal community,” said Hoelscher.
Mr. Hoelscher earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston and has been a member of the law school’s alumni association board since 2008. Previously, he served as vice president of the alumni association’s Development and Admissions committees. The South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association seeks to increase alumni interaction and support to strengthen the relevance and voice of the law school’s alumni as a primary constituency in the law school community.
A member of Bradley’s Construction and Government Contracts Practice Group, Mr. Hoelscher focuses his practice on advising clients in the construction, energy, and oil and gas industries. He often represents general contractors, subcontractors, oil field service companies, product and equipment manufacturers, as well as property owners and developers, in a wide range of transactional and litigation matters.
Mr. Hoelscher received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas.
