Amy Leopard Elected to AHLA Board of Directors

Bradley is pleased to announce that Amy S. Leopard, a partner in the firm’s Nashville office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA). She has chaired the AHLA Health Information and Technology Practice Group for the past three years and takes office in July.

A member of Bradley’s Healthcare Practice Group, Ms. Leopard serves as regulatory counsel and legal adviser to a diverse array of clients in the healthcare and technology industries on licensing, payment, regulatory compliance, privacy and technology issues. She has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers® in America for Health Care Law each year since 2006 and was named the 2017 Health Care Law “Lawyer of the Year” for Nashville for 2017.

Ms. Leopard is a former hospital executive, working in the healthcare industry for more than two decades, including as vice president in both academic medical center and community hospital settings and an internship in the U.S. Department of Justice. She received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and holds a Master of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University.

With nearly 14,000 members, the AHLA is the nation’s largest, nonpartisan, nonprofit, educational organization devoted to legal issues in the healthcare field.
