Derick Blakely Joins Nashville Office as Healthcare Associate

Bradley is pleased to announce that Derick Blakely has joined the firm’s Nashville office as an associate in the Healthcare Practice Group.

“We welcome Derick to Bradley’s Nashville office, and we look forward to our clients benefitting from his significant experience practicing healthcare law,” said Bradley Nashville Office Managing Partner Lela Hollabaugh.

Mr. Blakely provides healthcare regulatory counsel related to compliance, operational and transactional matters. He works with a variety of healthcare clients, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and other providers. Prior to joining Bradley, Mr. Blakely was an associate with Bass, Berry & Sims PLC.

“Derick’s background in regulatory and transactional matters makes him a natural fit for our national healthcare practice,” added Travis Lloyd, chair of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group. “We’re excited to welcome him to the team.”

During law school, Mr. Blakely worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and the D.C. Office of Inspector General, where he investigated and analyzed healthcare fraud and abuse issues. Prior to law school, he worked in the government services and consulting industry.

Mr. Blakely received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
