Bradley is pleased to announce that Aman S. Kahlon, a partner in the firm’s Birmingham office, has received the American Bar Association (ABA) Military Pro Bono Project Outstanding Services Award for his pro bono work in 2018.

The ABA Standing Committee on Legal Assistance Military Personnel (LAMP) presents the annual award to individual attorneys, law firms and law departments that have provided extraordinary pro bono services through the ABA Military Pro Bono Project. Mr. Kahlon was recognized for his work assisting service members in family law matters through the project.

“We congratulate Aman for his exceptional commitment to helping our active duty service members receive the legal help they need,” said Bradley Birmingham Office Managing Partner Dawn Helms Sharff. “We are proud of the work and generous donation of time that Aman and many other Bradley attorneys provide each year to fulfill our commitment to pro bono service in the communities where our lawyers live and practice.”

A member of Bradley’s Construction Practice Group, Mr. Kahlon represents owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in his construction and government contracts practice. His litigation work covers a wide variety of disputes, and he has substantial experience in power and energy matters. He advises clients on delay, interference, defective design and negligence claims.

The ABA’s LAMP fosters the continued growth of the military legal assistance programs; promotes the delivery of legal services to military personnel and their family members; and works with other organizations to enhance the scope, quality, and delivery of free or affordable legal services to eligible legal assistance clients.
