Article Addressed the 2013 Medicare IPPS/LTCH Final Rule
Lauren Jacques, a member of the firm’s Health Care Team, served as a contributing author for the December 3, 2012, edition of AHLA’s Practice Group Member Briefing. Each year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issues a Final Rule that updates Medicare payment policies and rates for inpatient stays in acute care and long term care hospitals paid under their respective prospective payment systems. The Member Briefing addressed the significant changes included in the 2013 Final Rule.
