European Automotive Supplier Set to Open High-Tech Tuscaloosa Plant

Congratulations to our client Truck & Wheel Group on its decision to build a $30 million, highly robotic and automated wheel assembly facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Headquartered in Spain, Truck & Wheel supplies wheel assemblies, industrial tires and sequencing for regional automotive manufacturing plants. The 127,000-square-foot Tuscaloosa facility will be the company’s first operation in the U.S.

Truck & Wheel’s decision further supports the area’s reputation as a committed partner to the automotive supply industry. Scheduled to open in 2018, the plant is expected to bring more than 70 jobs to the Tuscaloosa area.
