Class Action Against RDS/Alatax Tentatively Settled

We plan to issue a SALT Alert next week to summarize the very quiet tentative settlement that has been reached between the handful of taxpayers and their law firm and RDS/Alatax in the long-running class action suit. The class action may be certified as non-opt out, and the definition of the settlement class seems quite broad. Also, there are some critical deadlines, so please be on the look-out for this newsletter.
