Derick Blakely provides healthcare regulatory counsel related to compliance, operational and transactional matters. He works with a variety of healthcare clients, including ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals and other providers.
Derick received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. in history from the University of Virginia. During law school, he worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Office of Inspector General and the D.C. Office of Inspector General, where he investigated and analyzed healthcare fraud and abuse issues.
Prior to law school, Derick worked in the government services and consulting industry.
