Rachel Byrd’s practice focuses on healthcare transactions and the regulatory and operational issues that affect healthcare providers. She has experience handling transactions involving a variety of provider types, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, and others. Rachel also regularly advises clients on issues including compliance with state and Federal anti-kickback and self-referral laws, licensing, and provider enrollment.
Rachel graduated cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where she served as the Managing Editor of Law & Contemporary Problems. She also earned a Master of Arts in English from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
