Tabitha Etlinger focuses on complex litigation, including both federal and state appeals, as well as commercial and real estate transactions representing individuals, private companies and public entities. She is experienced in secured transactions, creditors’ rights and international law. A significant part of her practice also involves commercial transactions and disputes, both domestic and international.
Tabitha’s experience includes a broad array of real property issues, ranging from mortgages and other liens to zoning and development rights, as well as common defensive matters faced by financial services companies, such as fair debt collection claims, telephone consumer protection act claims, deceptive and unfair trade practices act claims and other related claims. Her litigation practice includes claims in both state and federal court, as well as bankruptcy-related matters, beginning in the pre-litigation phase through trial and appeal. Tabitha’s deep experience in the financial services industry has proved invaluable in providing high-quality service in a cost-efficient manner.
Tabitha has experience representing public, quasi-public and private entities as general counsel. Her representation focuses on clients heavily invested or otherwise involved in real estate and finance. She assists clients from their initial evaluation of a dispute or transaction all the way through its resolution. As general counsel, Tabitha has guided clients, from start to finish, in matters such as real estate development, financing arrangements, and resolution of both internal and external disputes.
