Jessica Jernigan-Johnson has experience litigating a wide variety of claims at the trial and appellate court level in commercial litigation, labor and employment, and consumer loan litigation.

Jessica’s practice includes financial institution defense in both state and federal courts, as well as complex business and commercial disputes. She has defended claims asserting violations of the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and state law claims arising from foreclosures and modifications. Jessica has also represented clients in the resolution of business disputes involving claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and consumer protection violations.

As in-house counsel for a large national banking institution, she managed large-exposure litigation and coordinated internal investigative responses to regulatory inquiries.
