Scott Lenz assists clients with a variety of transactional matters involving healthcare systems, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health facilities, imaging centers, clinics, and physician groups. In addition to handling commercial transactions involving mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures for both publicly traded and privately held companies, he works closely with healthcare providers on regulatory and operational matters, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and HIPAA/HITECH.
Scott also has extensive experience counseling clients regarding the formation and management of clinically integrated provider networks and accountable care organizations (ACOs), as well as the development of bundled payment arrangements. Scott is a member of the American Health Law Association's Accountable Care Organization Task Force.
He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, with a Concentration in Business Law. While in law school, Scott served as an editor of the Minnesota Law Review.
