David Lucas has broad experience in a variety of U.S. and foreign compliance environments, including data protection and special security requirements. He has advised U.S. and non-U.S. clients on the development and implementation of policies and procedures under the EU Data Protection Directive and US Safe Harbor.
David has also helped clients define and implement international compliance processes, and represented clients in various compliance proceedings. He has held U.S. secret clearance, essential for certain U.S. government matters, including mitigation of Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI) and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Based upon his multijurisdictional experience, David has developed associations with renowned legal counsel worldwide – critical to providing real- time multijurisdictional advice on cybersecurity and data protection matters.
