Joseph Mansilla maintains a broad practice that includes advising clients on corporate and commercial transactions, as well as regulatory and litigation matters. This experience enables him to think one step ahead, understand and mitigate complex risks, and guide clients through big-picture strategy and day-to-day concerns.
Joseph has a J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he served as a teaching assistant for his antitrust professor and as a research assistant for an international law professor, and was awarded the highest grade in his Negotiations class. Before law school, Joseph had a seven-year career in international development, including over four years at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., where he worked on open government projects and a $100 million grant operation to address sex- and gender-based violence in Africa. He was hired by the World Bank for his work on youth-led grassroots advocacy efforts in his home island of Mindanao in the Philippines, which focused on social accountability and conflict resolution.
