Ryan Priddy is an associate in the Financial Services Practice Group.
Ryan primarily defends financial services institutions in litigation. He litigates in state and federal courts across the country for claims brought under both state and federal law, including the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). Relatedly, Ryan also assists financial services providers in responding to examinations and investigations from state and federal regulators.
In addition to his litigation practice, he advises the firm’s financial services clients on compliance issues arising under a multitude of state and federal laws in an effort to minimize litigation.
Ryan graduated (cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was senior editor of the Alabama Law Review and a Dean’s Scholar. He also earned a B.S. in Economics (summa cum laude) from the University of Alabama.
