Angela Schaefer’s primary practice is appellate litigation. She began her appellate experience clerking on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Angela has since handled successful appeals in the Alabama Supreme Court, Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and has submitted two amicus briefs to the United States Supreme Court.
Aside from her appellate practice, Angela is regularly involved in business disputes in state and federal court. She has litigated wide-ranging issues relevant to all commercial clients, including breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and misappropriation of trade secrets.
Angela graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was an executive editor of the Alabama Law Review and a member of the American Bar Association National Moot Court Team, as well as the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board.
