Heather Sveadas serves as counsel in Bradley’s Healthcare Practice Group. She has extensive experience advising healthcare providers, including hospitals, home health providers, federally qualified health centers, rural health clinics and physicians in regulatory matters and in litigation of healthcare-related issues. Her practice includes assisting clients with Medicaid and Medicare regulatory issues, managed care contracting, vendor contracting, EMTALA and ADA issues and other legal issues that arise from the daily operation of healthcare facilities. She routinely advises clients on both federal and state Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Acts and the Healthcare Decisions Act.

Prior to joining Bradley, Heather served as counsel for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where she drafted and negotiated managed care contracts for commercial, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage lines of business. She also served as Director of Risk Management and Associate General Counsel for a multi-hospital health system that includes a Level 1 Trauma Center, academic medical center and children’s hospital.
