Because of her efforts to educate MDC’s members about ASTAR, MDC was named the “State and Local Defense Organization of the Year” in 2007 by DRI – the Voice of the Defense Bar. Sky is a past chair of the DRI Center for Law and Public Policy, the policy development and advocacy arm of the 23,000-member organization of lawyers defending businesses in court.
