Bradley and Attorneys Ranked by Chambers High Net Worth 2019 Guide for Private Wealth Law

Bradley is pleased to announce that the firm and its partners Scott E. Adams, William L. Hinds Jr., Bradley W. Lard, and Ralph H. Yeilding have been ranked by Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) 2019 for Private Wealth Law in Alabama.

The HNW 2019 guide marks Chambers’ first-ever publication specifically aimed at the international private wealth market.

The firm’s ranked partners all are based in Bradley’s Birmingham office and are members of the firm’s Trusts and Estates and Tax practice groups.

Mr. Adams is the leader of both the Trusts and Estates and Tax practice groups. He focuses his practice on estate planning strategies designed to minimize estate and other taxes, as well as ensure that assets left under a decedent’s will or trust for family members can be effectively and efficiently managed. In addition, he has significant experience in advising clients with respect to the administration of trusts and estates, and handling trust and estate litigation matters.

Mr. Hinds is engaged primarily in a tax and business practice with emphasis on transfer taxation (estate, gift and generation-skipping) planning. His estate practice includes preparation of wills, trusts, limited partnerships and other estate planning entities, as well as estate and trust administration. His tax practice involves general tax advice and planning, as well as handling controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. His business practice involves representation of non-public entities, as well as a number of individual clients.

Mr. Lard concentrates his practice primarily in estate and trust planning and administration, with an emphasis on related income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. In addition, he is actively engaged in representing individual and corporate fiduciaries (executors and trustees) in administrating and litigating estate and trust matters.

Mr. Yeilding practices primarily in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, IRS estate and gift tax audits and litigation, and state court probate and trust litigation. He regularly advises individuals and fiduciaries on a broad range of estate, trust and probate matters, including probate litigation matters, estate and gift tax planning; and drafting wills, trusts, family LLC's, limited partnerships and other family business entities. In addition, he has a very active practice handling a variety of estate and trust litigation matters.
