Successful in establishing that the client provided the monies to the company as a loan and that the monies were not a capital contribution as contended by the defendant LLC.

      Obtained a verdict in favor of plaintiff client after a five-day trial. Client prevailed on breach of construction contract claims and on foreclosure of claims of lien.

      Obtained summary judgment in favor of plaintiff client on commercial loan for over $2 million.

      Romualdas Juknevicius v. Tracy Elizabeth Crain, Case No. 15-CA-005558, Division H, Circuit Court of the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, Florida
      Obtained summary judgment in favor of defendant client on plaintiff’s claims for fraudulent misrepresentation, promissory estoppel, unjust enrichment and constructive trust, and equitable lien.

Southeastern Commercial Finance, LLC, an Alabama Corporation; Dominion Business Finance, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company; Valencia Stone, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company; United Tile & Stone, Inc., a Florida Corporation; Paolo G. Plazza; Benedetto G. Plazza; Stefano Plazza; and Mario L. Plazza, Case No. 08-23368, Division H, Civil Division, Circuit Court of the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, Florida
      Obtained a verdict in favor of client after a four-day trial. The case involved a dispute regarding an intercreditor agreement and the priority in security interests in the assets of a third-party borrower. Was successful on a reformation claim establishing that client’s security interest was superior to defendant’s security interest in collateral.
