Worked with private equity firm in conducting due diligence on project documentation, including a (i) Power Purchase Agreement, (ii) Engineering, Procurement and Construction Agreement, and (iii) Preventative Maintenance Agreement, for a 41 MW power plant to be constructed in Mozambique at a cost of over $102 million. Represented national public utility with the development and drafting of form engineering and construction-related agreements for use on future large-scale projects in the Midwest. Acted as lead counsel to project company (subsidiary to Fortune 50 company) in the development, drafting and negotiation of a construction contract for the construction of a substation in New Jersey. Represented the project company of an international financial institution with the development of contracting strategies, as well as drafting and negotiations of an owner’s Engineering Agreement and an EPC Agreement for 600 MW power plant facility in California valued in excess of $800 million. Assisted with contract negotiations on behalf of an international Chinese construction contractor for the construction of a power transmission grid in the U.S. valued at $700 million. Negotiated and prepared final construction contract and continued monitoring of construction issues for California power plant with construction totaling over $500 million. Finalized negotiations for EPC contract in the design, procurement and construction of a Combined Cycle Generation project with a total value of approximately $200 million in Arizona. Advised an international company in the acquisition and financing of a project for a 728 MW, eight-unit simple cycle electric power generation facility to be constructed in California valued in excess of $380 million.
