Ashley Robinson is a patent attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Her experience includes representative work for plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property disputes. Her practice also includes advising clients on the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights, including trademark clearance and registration, copyright registration, and patent prosecution.

Ashley devotes considerable amounts of her practice to patent, intellectual property, and trade secret litigation matters. Her IP litigation experience includes:

  • Patent infringement claims and non-infringement/ invalidity/non-enforceability counterclaims
  • Theft of trade secret claims
  • Copyright infringement claims
  • Enforcement of sensitive and management employee non-compete agreements
  • Trademark infringement claims
  • Intellectual property claims for emergency injunctions
  • Domain name disputes

Additionally, Ashley is involved in Bradley’s Artificial Intelligence industry group, where she frequently authors articles on the evolving nature of artificial intelligence and its legal challenges.

Ashley also uses her unique intellectual property and litigation experience to maintain an active pro bono practice. She is involved in Bradley’s Black-Owned Small Business and Nonprofit Clinic, through which she provides business-oriented legal services to local minority-owned small businesses. She has also assisted a multitude of clients through Volunteer Lawyers of Birmingham with various civil issues.
