Update on Two Major Partnership Tax Projects of the Multistate Tax Commission

The panelists will survey the ambitious and multifaceted project begun last year by the MTC and member states to develop uniform guidelines or perhaps model statutes, and to educate state tax administrators, as to the key issues involving the state taxation of Subchapter K entities and their owners. They will also review the essential components of the MTC’s Model Partnership Audit/RAR Statute, recently enacted in whole or in part by a number of states and under consideration by several others.
