Private Practitioners Panel

Gina Grimes moderated and spoke on the private practitioner’s panel at the Fifth Annual Environmental and Land Use Law Conference. Gina and the panel discuss the “Live Local Act” which is recently adopted state legislation regarding Affordable Housing. The legislation includes additional funding for affordable housing initiatives and incentives for developers who include various types and amounts of affordable housing in their projects. The incentives include ad valorem tax exemptions, limited exemptions from development standards for height and density, and exemptions from rezoning approval requirements for certain types of affordable housing projects.
