Gene Besen Joins Bradley’s Dallas Office as Government Enforcement and Investigations Partner
As part of its continuing strategic growth in its Texas markets, Bradley is pleased to announce that Gene R. Besen has joined the firm’s Dallas office as a partner in the Government Enforcement and Investigations Practice Group. Mr. Besen joins the firm as its 14th lawyer in Dallas, which opened earlier this year, and its 35th lawyer resident in its Texas offices.

Mr. Besen has spent years advising corporations and individuals nationwide in navigating investigations, civil enforcement actions, and criminal proceedings brought by various government agencies, and law enforcement bodies. His clients span a wide range of industries that need proactive strategies to mitigate and avoid controversies related to allegations involving billing fraud, kickbacks, securities fraud, insider trading, FCPA violations, pay-to-play schemes, antitrust violations, and price fixing.
Mr. Besen has extensive experience representing hospitals, physicians, pharmacies, laboratories, pharmaceutical corporations, financial institutions, hedge funds, and utilities in diverse civil and commercial litigation matters. These disputes typically involve claims related to white-collar criminal matters, including False Claims Act violations, healthcare fraud, securities fraud, kickbacks, and clawback actions involving alleged fraudulent transfers.
Prior to joining Bradley, Mr. Besen was a partner at Gray Reed & McGraw LLP.
Mr. Besen received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University.
