Bradley Attorney Emily Ruzic Receives Unsung Hero Award

Accolade, Firm News

Bradley attorney Emily Ruzic received the Unsung Hero Award from the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) Young Lawyers Committee. Emily was recognized for her willingness to not only tackle an incredibly important role on the Steering Committee with skill and commitment, but also for devoting her time and energy to other tasks, for assisting the Executive Board when asked, and for volunteering to take on work outside her own committee role.

DRI is the international membership organization of attorneys and in-house counsel involved in the defense of civil litigation. DRI’s Young Lawyers Committee is made up of attorneys practicing across every substantive area within the defense bar who have been admitted to practice for 10 years or less. Emily has been a member of the Young Lawyers Committee since 2015 and serves as chair of the Membership Subcommittee, which facilitates the recruitment of new members by other steering committee members and works to engage and retain current members.

Emily was presented with the Unsung Hero award at DRI’s annual meeting in New Orleans in October 2019.
