Bradley Adds Jeffrey Shear to Real Estate Group in Tampa

Bradley is pleased to announce the arrival of Jeffrey Shear as counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in Tampa.

“Jeff’s high level of both transactional and land use experience is well regarded throughout Florida and the Tampa Bay region, and we are confident that his leadership and skillset will be instrumental in supporting development projects and negotiations regarding acquisitions and approvals,” said Bradley Tampa Office Managing Partner R. Craig Mayfield.

Mr. Shear represents a wide variety of stakeholders, ranging from developers and lenders to institutional investors regarding real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing and lending. For developer representation, he handles all aspects of commercial and residential real estate projects, including acquisitions, zoning and permitting, financing and disposition. Mr. Shear also represents buyers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions of office buildings, multi-family developments and shopping centers and is an authorized agent of multiple national title insurance companies. Additionally, he frequently represents landlords and tenants in commercial office and retail lease negotiations.

A graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Mr. Shear earned his B.S. from Tulane University. He currently serves as chairman of the board of directors of the Tampa Theater Foundation and serves on the board of directors and is past chairman of the board of directors for the Real Estate Investment Council. Mr. Shear also participated in the Leadership Tampa program of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, was on the Leadership Council of the Florida Holocaust Museum and is a member of the Florida and Hillsborough County bar associations.
