Bradley Announces Anne Marie Seibel as Chair of Litigation Practice Group
Bradley is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner Anne Marie Seibel has been named chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and will be responsible for overall strategic planning for the practice. Ms. Seibel succeeds Leigh Anne Hodge, who retired from Bradley after leading the group through four years of success and unprecedented growth.
Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group has more than 300 litigators who handle matters in nearly every substantive area of law that impacts businesses. The team approaches cases strategically, providing early case assessments for clients to help direct the course of the matter from preliminary dispositive motions and settlement talks through trial and appeal, if necessary.
“Anne Marie is an exceptional litigator and a well-known leader in the legal industry, notably having served in a national role as the ABA’s Litigation Section chair,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “We are grateful for Leigh Anne’s tremendous leadership and are confident that Anne Marie will continue to focus on growth as she promotes the strength of our litigation practice, building upon the creativity and skill our teams use to successfully handle complex matters in courts throughout the country.”
Ms. Seibel concentrates her practice on litigating and advising clients on the moving parts in multi-forum or multi-plaintiff, high-stakes litigation. She served as the 2023-2024 chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Litigation Section, which is one of the largest sections of the ABA, and she oversaw programming and services provided to the section’s membership throughout the country. She also served as co-chair of the Membership and Marketing Committee, co-chair of the Regional CLE Programs Committee, liaison to the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, and co-chair of the Women Advocate Committee. Ms. Seibel is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a member of The American Law Institute.
In 2024, Ms. Seibel was selected as an honoree of Corporate Counsel’s Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards in the Collaborative Leadership Category, a prestigious industry award for individuals who have made a difference in the legal profession. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation since 2014 and was named the Birmingham “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation and Controversy – Tax for 2025. Ms. Seibel has also been recognized in Benchmark Litigation as a Litigation Star and listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers for Business Litigation since 2017.
