Simon Bailey Elected to Board of the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit
Bradley partner Simon Bailey has been elected to the board of directors of the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit (BAFFC). Mr. Bailey will serve a two-year term beginning in October.
A member of the firm’s Jackson, Mississippi office, Mr. Bailey litigates matters across the country at the trial and appellate stages. He has represented clients in a wide range of matters, including consumer protection cases, product liability cases, and commercial cases involving insurers, lenders, accountants, and other professionals. He also has an active pro bono practice and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Mississippi Bar, and the Capital Area Bar Association, as well as the BAFFC.
Mr. Bailey has been recognized as an “Up and Coming” practitioner by Chambers USA in Mississippi in the area of Litigation: General Commercial. He also has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation since 2021 and is listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers. Bailey earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and his B.B.A., summa sum laude, from Mississippi State University.
The BAFFC a nonprofit, voluntary association comprised of over 6,000 members, primarily in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, who practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. BAFFC’s mission is to raise the standards of proficiency and integrity in federal practice and improve the administration of justice in the Fifth Circuit and federal district courts within the circuit.
