Bradley attorney Sinan Pismisoglu has earned both the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C) credential and the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

A senior attorney in Bradley’s Houston and Washington, D.C. offices, Mr. Pismisoglu now holds six IAPP credentials, including CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, and CIPT, along with the newly earned CIPP/C and AIGP designations, making him a highly credentialed privacy professional. The CIPP program is widely recognized as the leading global credential for privacy and data protection professionals.

The IAPP launched the AIGP certification to meet the growing demand for professionals to understand and execute responsible AI governance as AI technology has continued to expand globally. The credential demonstrates that an individual can ensure safety and trust in the development and deployment of ethical AI and ongoing management of AI systems.

Mr. Pismisoglu concentrates his practice in national security law, with particular focus on export controls, trade sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). He regularly helps clients navigate global data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity concerns across a number of industries and country-based regulatory risks and serves as a valuable resource for clients on AI ethics, data licensing, and using marketing data and cookies. Mr. Pismisoglu has experience in SLA, privacy and data security provisions and privacy agreements, cross-border data transfers, global data sovereignty, and localization.
