Bradley Recognized as Pro Bono Leader by ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service
Bradley has been recognized as a 2025 “Pro Bono Leader” by the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service for demonstrating exceptional dedication to pro bono service through its participation in ABA Free Legal Answers, a virtual legal advice portal.
The ABA’s annual Pro Bono Leader awards recognize individual attorneys, law firms, corporate law departments, and other organizations that answer 75 or more civil legal questions through ABA Free Legal Answers in a given year. In 2025, Bradley attorneys responded to 199 civil legal questions on the Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas sites.
“We are proud to partner with the ABA in its mission to expand access to justice through ABA Free Legal Answers,” said Bradley Pro Bono Counsel Tiffany M. Graves. “We have such an exceptional culture of service here at Bradley, and it is rewarding to see the collective efforts of our firm in supporting this program. We are grateful for the time and skill our lawyers devote to providing this important service.”
Now entering its 10th year, ABA Free Legal Answers has responded to nearly 470,000 civil legal questions submitted by users to pro bono attorneys from 42 jurisdictions, including a federal portal that specifically addresses veterans' benefits and immigration questions.
Bradley’s Pro Bono program helps address the unmet legal needs of indigent individuals and charitable organizations. Attorneys across the firm’s offices devote significant time each year to pro bono work, representing individuals in matters ranging from death penalty and human rights cases to intellectual property work for low-income inventors, artists and entertainers. Bradley was also recognized for its pro bono service by the ABA’s Death Penalty Representation Project in 2025 for its commitment to excellence in capital defense.
As the national voice of the legal profession, the ABA, one of the largest voluntary associations of lawyers in the world, works to improve the administration of justice, promotes programs that assist lawyers and judges in their work, accredits law schools, provides continuing legal education, and works to build public understanding around the world of the importance of the rule of law.
